Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
2005-11-29 - 3:32 p.m.

It's not warm when she's away
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And she's always gone too long anytime
She goes away

For some reason that song is firmly implanted in my brain today. Could be the weather... I actually like and appreciate the rain.

Had a loverly turkey day at Max and Markie's place; aka: the Niemann-Dawson Bed and Breakfast. Smoked turkey, roast pork, honey baked ham, and grilled salmon with left-over Val's roumalade sauce. Yummy. Was great to see lots of friends, work on special string projects, and hang around in general. There is something purely decadent about having slices of sweet potato pie and Gerlach's key lime pie for breakfast the next morning. Also got my quota of dog-play to tide me over for a little while.

The rest of the weekend was delivering graphics to the studio for the first Lost Cause CD, as well as watching bad TV, being productive around the house, and even getting a little sewing done. I really didn't want to come back to work on Monday, but there you go.

Speaking of Lost Cause, the CD is expected to be delivered and available for sale at our upcoming performance with the Chromatics at 8pm on Dec 10th in Greenbelt MD. Come on out for the show and pick up a CD. You know you've always wanted the Angel of Death's dulcet tones on CD in your car, now you can have her... on CD.

So that's what's been consuming most of my functioning brain power at the moment. Will be headed down to Greeneville, SC for a fun fun weekend of SCA Business meetings and order meetings and more fun that a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, let me tell you. It is always interesting to see Scadians in plain clothes, some impress, some just shock.
If it wasn't for the people watching...
